“The LORD is my shepherd, I shall not want…” –Psalm 23:1

What an awesome verse from God’s word. Over the past two years, I’ve had the privilege of encouraging several elders (and family members) with this truth from the Holy Bible. It is a statement that can be prayed confidently in times of transition. As God’s children, Psalm 23 reminds us that “The LORD is my Shepherd.” He is there for me in good times, and also in times of trouble. We are reminded that no matter what age we are, no matter what stage of life we are in, He is our Shepherd! He provides all that we need spiritually, physically, mentally, emotionally, materially, and financially. May you rest in our Great Shepherd’s care today!
